Of course I have been very busy with tons of music and music related projects……for instance, Big Bad Gina, Jorian Oxygen, teaching music to my new fabulous students, and just recently I’ve purchased a pretty swanky video camera….so ya never know what’s on the horizon.

I would like to thank everyone who attended my last minute solo gig in Eureka Springs, AR just recently. I sure had a great time with you folks! I was just beginning to miss singing solo and all those songs that I don’t do that much while playing in bands, esp. when I’m playing drums. And so I hope to be doing more of that!

So thanks for visiting me here. Hope to see you out and around town and in your neighborhood. Keep on keeping on with good music, good vibe, and good food!!

I have performed with them during their sets, I have double billed with them with both Big Bad Gina and Jorian Oxygen, they have let me do a few solo numbers during their sets and all 3 out of town gigs BBG has in Sept. are because of Ginger and Bekah. Thank you Sistahs for sharing your energy, shining your lights, bringing the music, the mission, and the magic to the stage and way way beyond. Thank you wonder-full music lovers, fans, friends, and family! It’s because of YOU and your love, energy, and support, not to mention all the dancing, that’s made us the best new band! We couldn’t do it without you and we couldn’t be prouder!
But in the moment of accepting the award and the surprise, the adrenalin, the throng of people staring at us, I couldn’t get all the thanks out at once. So I’d like to shout out extra special thanks to Oxygen Edge for sharing her songs and bass prowess with us, Susan Porter, editor of the Free Weekly, for making sure this happens every year for 15 years now, and the Free Health Clinic for being available for all the low income patients they serve – including me! I’d also like to thank Angela Peace for setting us up with the most awesome professional photo shoots; many of them you will find on our bigbadgina.com website. And Kirk Lanier for many, many a gorgeous photo at gigs and out on the town and even double billing with us at Scarpino’s with his band.
There’s probably still more, oh yeah like Sky Dancer and Leona for making us the most fabulous video that’s had hundreds of views, Daniel Gold for his many years of DJing his KXUA radio show, Honest Tunes, and having us as one of his studio interviews and then videotaping us and helping us gain notice from Ingrid.
Yeah, there’s alot of people to thank and I’m thrilled beyond belief to receive this honor with my bandmates (that includes you too, Oxygen) who work their tails off always trying to keep it fresh, keep it real, and keep it good!
