Thank you wonder-full music lovers, fans, friends, and family! It’s because of YOU and your love, energy, and support, not to mention all the dancing, that’s made us the best new band! We couldn’t do it without you and we couldn’t be prouder!
But in the moment of accepting the award and the surprise, the adrenalin, the throng of people staring at us, I couldn’t get all the thanks out at once. So I’d like to shout out extra special thanks to Oxygen Edge for sharing her songs and bass prowess with us, Susan Porter, editor of the Free Weekly, for making sure this happens every year for 15 years now, and the Free Health Clinic for being available for all the low income patients they serve – including me! I’d also like to thank Angela Peace for setting us up with the most awesome professional photo shoots; many of them you will find on our bigbadgina.com website. And Kirk Lanier for many, many a gorgeous photo at gigs and out on the town and even double billing with us at Scarpino’s with his band.
There’s probably still more, oh yeah like Sky Dancer and Leona for making us the most fabulous video that’s had hundreds of views, Daniel Gold for his many years of DJing his KXUA radio show, Honest Tunes, and having us as one of his studio interviews and then videotaping us and helping us gain notice from Ingrid.
Yeah, there’s alot of people to thank and I’m thrilled beyond belief to receive this honor with my bandmates (that includes you too, Oxygen) who work their tails off always trying to keep it fresh, keep it real, and keep it good!
More music coming soon!!!

THEN… Big Bad Gina will be presenting “The Divine Femmes” at the Goddess Festival Friday, March 26! This Divine Event will begin at 7pm and is $5 benefitting the festival. This is a WONDERFUL venue, beautiful people, and on the East side of the Fayetteville Downtown Square in the old Bank of America Building! Come hear us play our set as well as play with some of Fayetteville’s other bright, shining stars – a magical, unforgettable evening! Were any of you there last year? BBG certainly has evolved over the past year – but this Festival as a whole is our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
of the first time Mel, Jori and I made music together on stage!

And don’t forget to get yourself and your friends a copy of this year’s Goddess Festival CD! A whole range of music from classical to spoken word, jazz to chant, folk, rock, ballads and then some…produced locally by Prima Diva Productions. What a year for BBG! Thanks to YOU ALL of course!! We’re still not even a year old yet! And thanks to the folks at Scarpino’s for hosting Big Bad Thursdays. Be looking for more starting in Jan. Alot has happened in our 8 months together. Along with performing with Oxygen Edge, Tiffany Christopher, and (coming soon) GB Mojo from Austin, we’ve also begun recording our first CD, have been selected by the Free Weekly for a band of the week feature article, been on KXUA 88.3FM for Honest Tunes and for a special Pride radio show, and have been noticed by the THE Ingrid Michaelson who brings us “The Chain” and “You and I” (…let’s get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France……” that one!)

We are so thrilled with the support and love each of you give! Unending gratitude to you all! This town is full of many many artists and musicians, so there’s alot to choose from when going to be entertained. Thanks for choosing us!!! It’s full circle energy!!!
